Built around the story of a protagonist slowly consumed by guilt, depression, anxiety, paranoia, and untreated illness, the album follows his belief that a “worm” has entered his mind and is destroying him from the inside. As the album progresses, the truth becomes clearer: the worm is not a creature at all, but a manifestation of everything he refused to face.
